How long is an Employment Pass valid for?
A successful Employment Pass applicant will be granted an Employment Pass valid for two years upon first approval and three years upon subsequent approvals.

The list of recognised institutions http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/passes-visas/epe-certificate/before-you-apply/Pages/institutions.aspx published on the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) website provides only a sample of the institutions that the Ministry recognizes. MOM recognizes qualifications from the listed institutions, as well as other institutions that are of comparable and equivalent standard. If your institution is considered equivalent to or better than the other institutions in the country on our list, it would be recognized.
Does the Ministry of Manpower require employers to purchase and maintain insurance for the medical expenses of Employment Pass holders?
No. This requirement applies only to Work Permit and S Pass holders. This is in line with the employer’s existing responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of their Foreign Workers, including the provision of medical treatment.
